In 2026, we are looking for new people to join our team. We invite people to apply who are interested, have experience in creating from scratch with their feet in the dirt.
Please, keep in mind. Metro54 is not an institution, but a space for (un)doing, researching, making, collaborating, facilitating and experimenting etc. We’re open to welcoming people with wider knowledge and perspectives to join us and influence and develop our working practice. We are looking for a producer, this position is part-time and is intended to be filled by freelancers.

Producer
Metro54’s program is fluid. As Producer, you are a doer, a fixer, and responsible for the (pre)production of our programs (exhibitions, projects, gatherings, etc.). The producer will be a key member of the broader programme team, working on programs across a wide range of art forms. You will manage the production, installation, and delivery of our exhibitions, commissions, programs and community collaborations across project space and offsite activities, alongside associated public programming.
Doing
- Responsible for execution of all programs such as talks, listing sessions, and small performances.
- Being largely present during the installation, dismantling, and coordination of the productions.
- Developing production schedules and monitoring budgets for each exhibition.
- Managing and scheduling volunteers.
- Working closely with artists, partners and team to realize the our programs, exhibitions and projects
- Maintain budget management and planning for projects.
- Coordinate with external parties, technical staff, suppliers, sponsors and external contractors

Who are we looking for?
- You work in a structured manner, are solution-oriented and maintain an overview
- Good social and communication skills
- You preferably have a driver's license
- Willing to work on some weekends and evenings Dutch/English
