Diasporic Life – Black Solidarity / Towards Liberation is a multi-faceted manifestation, hosted by Metro54, shaped by many inspiring collaborators. The second chapter shape-shifts into a constellation of artworks, film screenings, artistic and research propositions, a zine, conversations, listening sessions, parties and sonic lectures. There will be contributions from Tumelo Mtimkhulu, Timothy Yanick Hunter, Milla Milla, Madubuko Diakité, Shertise Solano, Maureen Blackwood, Ibrahim Cesay, body_hacker, Phantom Wizard, Cate Lartey (The Black Archives Germany) throughout the duration of the exhibition.
Alongside the Diasporic Life manifestation, Metro54 x Eben Badu presents: Internet Is a Real Place; an interactive installation designed as a hybrid between an old-school internet café, a DIY radio booth, and a contemporary streaming (bed)room.
We hope to see you there! Our space opens from 6pm!
